About Us | Concord Construction
Meet Shawn Humes—and the straightforward way we approach construction
When you’re comparing contractors, you’re not just hiring a company—you’re handing over your home, your budget, and a whole lot of trust. This page exists for one simple reason: to help you feel confident about who you’re bringing onto your project.
Concord Construction is led by Shawn Humes (Owner). If you’re the kind of person who likes to know who’s responsible for the work and who you’ll be communicating with, you’re in the right place.
About Shawn & Our Company
Concord Construction is built around a simple idea: construction should feel clear, professional, and accountable from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
We know how quickly a project can feel stressful when expectations aren’t aligned or communication gets fuzzy. That’s why we focus on being direct, easy to reach, and honest about what we know—and what we still need to learn—before work begins. You deserve a contractor who treats your questions with respect and takes your concerns seriously.
Who you’re hiring
Shawn Humes, Owner & General Contractor
I’m Shawn Humes, the Owner of Concord Construction and your General Contractor.
Being a general contractor isn’t just about managing tasks—it’s about managing details, timing, and trust. It means thinking ahead, staying organized, and keeping the project moving without losing sight of what you actually want the finished result to feel like.
If you’re looking for a contractor who brings steady leadership to the job—and who understands that your home isn’t just another worksite—you’ll feel at home with us.
The essentials, clearly stated
Licensed & insured—because responsibility matters
Hiring a contractor should never feel like a gamble. You should be able to verify the basics and move forward with peace of mind.
- Shawn Humes is a licensed Contractor.
- Concord Construction is fully insured.
- All subcontractors and employees of Concord Construction are covered by Worker’s Comp.
That’s not “fine print” to us—it’s part of doing the job the right way.
Community matters to us
We don’t just work here—we’re part of the community. Being involved locally is important to us, because the places we build and improve are the same places we live, shop, and spend time with our families.
When you hire Concord Construction, you’re not hiring a random crew passing through. You’re partnering with people who care about doing work they’re proud to stand behind.
If you’re comparing contractors, here’s what we hope you feel
You should feel comfortable reaching out—even if you’re early in the process, even if you’re still collecting ideas, and even if you’re not sure what’s possible yet.
If you want to talk through your project and get a feel for how we work, we’d love to hear what you’re planning. Head over to our contact page and tell us a little about what you’re building, updating, or repairing.
